Tea Košnjek

With fifteen years of experience in elite sport, my work has evolved through strength & conditioning coaching, sports massage therapy, and athlete care across different high-performance environments.

After completing Master’s degree in Kinesiology, movement, performance, and understanding the human body have shaped both my professional path and personal lifestyle.

My background comes primarily from swimming, where I continue working with the Slovenia National Swim Team and Olympic-level athletes through performance testing, strength training, and recovery support during international competitions and training camps. Alongside swimming, I also work within the Netcompany Ineos Cycling Team, where I work as a carer / soigneur, supporting riders through massage therapy, recovery, and athlete care during UCI races.

As part of my work in elite sport, I coach world and national record holders in freediving, focusing on strength development, movement efficiency, and technique refinement. A particular focus of this work lies in optimizing body position, movement economy, and physical efficiency under pressure. These principles are shared through online coaching, workshops, training camps, and technique masterclasses held across Europe.

Outside of work, movement remains a natural part of my everyday life. Whether on a bike, in the mountains, on a trail run, or in the gym, I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring what the body is capable of through movement and adventure.

In many ways, the lifestyle I encourage in others is the same one I live myself. This personal connection to training, recovery, and being active continues to shape my approach to coaching and helps me understand the challenges and goals of the people I work with.

HUMAN PERFORMANCE IBIZA

Years in elite sport taught me how deeply the body responds to structure, consistency and recovery.

Through Human Performance Ibiza, my goal is to bring the same athlete-based approach used in elite sport into a more accessible and sustainable form for recreational athletes and active individuals. It’s designed to support a healthier, long‑term relationship with the body.

Curious to explore what this approach can bring to your time on the island?
